2020 is our 7th Season for the League

In 2012 a group of community volunteers came together and decided they wanted to build a Miracle Legue field in Manitowoc, WI.  The group decided they wanted to provide the opportunity to more people in the community.  At that time 25 families were driving to the Miracle League of Green Bay.  The group became a program of Goodwill NCW in December of 2012 and started fundraising for the project in 2013.  The first games were played in June of 2014.

We continue to grow!  We are located at Miracles Park (Formerly Dewey Street Park).  We play on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights!

Players bat, field, and round bases according to their ability.  The game is two innings long, Everyone plays, everyone bats, and everyone wins!

Like other youth leagues, we have volunteer coaches and umpires.  We also have volunteer buddies who are partnered with a player for the season for safety, assistance, and friendship.

The season is typically 8 weeks long and runs from June to July.

The Miracle League of the Lakeshore is an amazing experience for the athletes, their families, and all the volunteers who help make it happen.  Just seeing the smiles and hugs each week reminds me of how great this community can be.  We all win with every game that takes place. --Nathan Spaeth, a volunteer coach.

I love the opportunity to play baseball.  I have made a lot of good friendships.  I love when my grandparents cheer me on. -- Caleb S., Player

Having the Miracle League in in my life has benefited me and my buddy tremendously.  She had the opportunity to participate in a sport with other special needs children that has given her more confidence and better self-esteem.  The Miracle League also provides the families with loving, sensitive, and caring volunteers who encourage and motivate their children to not be afraid to try new things or be afraid to fall.  Thank you, Miracle League of the Lakeshore for giving so many people this opportunity!~ - Dave, a volunteer buddy
